Kobe’s Journey
Competing in the Under 21’s -60kg category, Kobe displayed exceptional skill and resilience throughout the tournament:
– **First Round:** A commanding start with a dominant 6-0 victory.
– **Semi-Final:** Another impressive performance, securing a 6-1 win to reach the final.
– **Final Match:** Kobe faced a tough opponent and initially dropped to 6-0. However, in a stunning display of grit and focus, he mounted a remarkable comeback to close the gap to 5-6 in just 10 seconds. Despite his best efforts, the match concluded 10-6 after a lapse in concentration during the dying moments. Nevertheless, reaching the final of this highly competitive category marks a fantastic achievement for Kobe.
Yuan’s Effort
Yuan competed in the Cadet -57kg category, where he gave a determined performance. While struggling to find his ideal distance, Yuan showcased great potential with well-executed hand and leg techniques. Unfortunately, the first-round match ended with a narrow 1-0 loss. This outing will undoubtedly serve as a valuable experience for Yuan as he continues to refine his craft.
